By Train
Guildford is on the main line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth. Fast half-hourly train services run from Guildford to Waterloo, with journey times of 35 minutes. You can check journeys on Google Maps as well, but it is always a good idea to double check with other sources too.
From Guildford Train Station to the Conference Venue
Walking (approximately 15 mins): Leave the station by footbridge and rear exit. Turn right from the station along Guildford Park Road and take the second turning on the right. Follow the path through the park-and-ride car park to the campus.
Bus (approximately 5 minutes): ARRIVA buses (leave station by footbridge and rear exit, cross main road to bus stop) operate a regular service to the campus. Services 17, 27 and 37 run approximately every ten minutes during the day. The earliest service is at approximately 6am and the last bus is just before midnight. By Air
Guildford is conveniently placed for both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Landing at Stansted, Luton, City and Southend airports will involve transit through central London.
Via London Airport (Gatwick)
Gatwick station is positioned in the South Terminal of the airport and provides direct trains to Guildford hourly between approximately 5.15am (6am on Sundays) and 11pm. Via London Airport (Heathrow)
Rail-air link coaches leave Terminal 2 for Woking railway station from 6.30am to 10.50pm, picking up from Terminals 3, 1 and 4. Between 6.35am and 8.30pm they run approximately every half an hour, otherwise it is an hourly service. Journey time to Guildford is about 80 minutes. There are frequent trains from Woking to Guildford. For further information visit www.railair.com.
By Coach

By Car
Guildford is 30 miles south-west of London, on the A3 London-Portsmouth road. If approaching from London or the M25 (Junction 10), remain on the bypass (A3) until you reach the exit signed to the Cathedral and University. The campus is very close to this junction. Simply follow the signs to the University, being careful not to follow signs to the Town Centre.
If approaching on the A322 or A323 from Bagshot or Aldershot, at the A3 roundabout take the exit signed to Portsmouth, and then turn off the A3 at the first exit (signed to the Cathedral and University).
If entering Guildford from Horsham (A281) or Godalming (A3100), leave the central gyratory system at the exit signed for Farnham (A31). After approximately 200 yards, at the mini-roundabout, take the first turning right into Guildford Park Road, and continue along Madrid Road and The Chase for a mile. At the next roundabout, take the third exit for the University entrance.
