University Accommodation Information
If you booked it as part of the registration process, your accommodation will be on the Stag Hill Campus at Twyford Court (see location here). Here you can see a map of the main locations in relation to your accommodation, and further below is relevant information on check-in, check-out, breakfast etc.
Check-in
IMPORTANT: Please note that check-in will not be at Twyford Court, but at Stag Hill Reception (Senate House; see location here), which is a 10 minutes walk away from Twyford Court.
Check-in starts at 15:00. The reception closes at 18:00, but if you arrive later (including at any point during the night) you will still be able to check-in by using the buzzer (labelled “Security”; see photo below) located outside Stag Hill Reception, or by calling +44 (0)1483 682002.
Check-out
Check-out should be completed by 09:00 on the day of departure, again with our team at Stag Hill Reception. The reception opens at 08:00 on Monday-Friday, and at 09:00 on Saturday. If you need to check-out earlier than that, you can drop off the keys in the box labelled “Key Drop” outside Stag Hill reception (see photo below).
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in your accommodation, and will be served between 07:30 and 09:00 at Hillside Restaurant (see location here).
Accommodation Amenities
Bed linen, towels, toiletries, and tea and coffee are provided. A kettle, iron, ironing board, fridge, and microwave can be found in your flat’s shared kitchen. Unfortunately, we do not supply hairdryers, adaptors, extra pillows, or blankets. Please note that smoking is not permitted within the accommodation, designated smoking shelters can be found around campus.
Keys and Personal Belongings
If you lose your key during your stay, please report it to your receptionist, who will be able to issue a new key. The charge for a replacement key is £10. Please note that reception accepts card payments only.
After the reception’s closing, security will only let you into the room and you will need to collect a new key at the next available opportunity. The University accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or vehicles and their contents nor for injury to visitors to the campus except where required by law. Please lock your bedroom door and shut windows when leaving.
Reception is open as follows:
Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00 Saturday: 09:00-17:00 Sunday – closed.
Maintenance
For any maintenance faults in your accommodation, please report to the reception team during opening hours.
